On the afternoon of September 7, the Provincial People’s Committee held a conference to hear reports from units regarding preparation progress for the Ceremony Commemorating the 72nd Anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Visit to Hung Temple (September 19, 1954 – September 19, 2026) and the Inauguration of the “Uncle Ho with the Grand National Festival” Monument at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site. Ms. Phung Thi Kim Nga—Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee—chaired the conference.

Also attending were Mr. Duong Hoang Huong—Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; representatives from the Political Work Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Propaganda Board, as well as relevant departments, sectors, and localities.

According to the plan, the Ceremony Commemorating the 72nd Anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Visit to Hung Temple and the Inauguration of the “Uncle Ho with the Grand National Festival” Monument at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site is scheduled to take place on the morning of September 19, 2026. The program includes a welcoming art performance, flag-raising ceremony, commemorative speech, screening of a documentary on 72 years since Uncle Ho’s visit to Hung Temple and the construction process of the Uncle Ho Monument, remarks by Party and State leaders, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, flower offering, and a tour of the monument project.

To date, preparation efforts have been intensively deployed by relevant departments, sectors, units, and localities according to schedule. The Organizing Committee for the Anniversary and Monument Inauguration has been established, assigning specific tasks to each member.
Publicity campaigns, landscape embellishments, environmental sanitation, as well as security, order, and safety measures in the event area have been deployed synchronously and thoroughly—preparing forces and vehicles ready to handle arising situations in a timely and effective manner.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phung Thi Kim Nga affirmed that this is an exceptionally important political and cultural event. Agencies and units must strictly adhere to assigned tasks, enhance coordination, and ensure the progress and quality of each work item.
Units must urgently finalize the overall script, speeches, documentary, and art program; carefully prepare reception work, delegate seating, and ensure all rituals are conducted solemnly, strictly, and in line with protocols.
Publicity work should be stepped up across mass media, digital platforms, and visual media, creating a joyful atmosphere and broadly spreading the significance of the event.

The Vice Chairwoman requested functional forces to continue carefully reviewing and synchronously deploying plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation, and absolute safety for attending delegates and citizens.
Agencies and units must proactively monitor the situation, promptly detect and resolve arising issues—especially in event venues—to avoid being passive or caught unprepared; ensuring all conditions serving the Anniversary Ceremony and Inauguration of the “Uncle Ho with the Grand National Festival” Monument operate smoothly, thoughtfully, and on schedule.
