Phu Tho Deploys Vietnam Culture Day Activities Linked to All-People Great National Unity Festival

On the afternoon of October 14, Comrade Phung Thi Kim Nga — Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee — chaired a conference to hear reports on deploying activities to organize Vietnam Culture Day linked to the All-People Great National Unity Festival and the Culture - Great National Unity Week in 2026. Attending the conference was Comrade Duong Hoang Huong — Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to plans, Phu Tho province will organize Vietnam Culture Day linked with the All-People Great National Unity Festival and the Culture - Great National Unity Week in 2026 from November 18 to 24, 2026, featuring cultural, artistic, sports, exchange, and experiential activities serving the public.

Activities will be organized across the entire province, with central focus placed on wards including Viet Tri, Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and the Hung Temple Special National Historical Relic Site; while simultaneously deploying broadly across communes, wards, villages, and residential quarters.

The highlight of the 2026 Culture - Great National Unity Week activity series is the real-scene art program and music festival “Lac Hong Spirit” alongside the “Phu Tho Culture - Connecting Development” Camp Festival, featuring numerous special performances to introduce unique cultural features and characteristic products of the Ancestral Land.

Delivering concluding remarks at the conference, Vice Chairwoman Phung Thi Kim Nga requested organizing Vietnam Culture Day linked with the All-People Great National Unity Festival and the Culture - Great National Unity Week in tandem with Vietnam Law Day (November 9). Preparation and organization work must be carried out seriously and methodically, ensuring close alignment with general orientations while clearly demonstrating Phu Tho’s identity, strengths, and distinct cultural values.

For the real-scene art program - “Lac Hong Spirit” music festival and the “Phu Tho Culture - Connecting Development” Camp Festival, careful study and preparation are required to guarantee quality and appeal, creating a unique imprint for the event—thereby contributing to promoting the Ancestral Land’s image, heritage, alongside cultural and tourism potential.

The Vice Chairwoman assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to fully absorb meeting feedback, coordinating with agencies and units to review, supplement, and finalize the province’s general draft plan. Departments, boards, sectors, alongside commune and ward People’s Committees shall urgently concretize plans, aligning assigned duties with practical conditions, promoting proactiveness and creativity while ensuring unity in organizational execution.
