To ensure seamless traffic for the public to enjoy a safe Lunar New Year, the construction of a pontoon bridge across the Lo River (Doan Hung Commune) is being carried out at high speed. The goal is to complete the project by the 28th day of the 12th lunar month (February 15, 2026) to serve the community following an incident with the old bridge.
Guided by the Prime Minister’s directive—“not wasting a single day, not delaying for a week, not missing an opportunity in a month, and not being passive throughout the year”—the 249th Brigade of the Engineering Corps deployed forces and equipment at 5:00 AM to urgently reinforce the riverbanks and install the pontoon bridge.
