On the morning of February 11, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Son Commune solemnly held the inauguration ceremony for their new administrative headquarters.
The event was attended by Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments and local residents.
Chairman Tran Duy Dong delivers a speech and presents flowers to congratulate the leaders of Trung Son Commune.
Trung Son is a disadvantaged commune with a natural area of 97.3 km2 and a population of over 6,200. In late August 2025, following the aftermath of Storm No. 5, the locality suffered severe landslides. Most notably, on August 26, 2025, a massive landslide involving nearly 1,000 m2 of debris from a 100-meter hill behind the old office caused significant damage, forcing all commune officials to evacuate and work in temporary locations such as the local medical station and community houses.
Responding to the emergency, on September 1, 2025, Chairman Tran Duy Dong conducted a field inspection and ordered the urgent construction of a new headquarters in the Sat area. The project officially broke ground on September 25, 2025.

Chairman Tran Duy Dong and delegates cut the ribbon to officially open the new administrative headquarters.
Spanning 8,592 m2, the new headquarters consists of four main buildings, including office blocks for the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Public Service Center, as well as a large hall and residential quarters for staff. The total investment for the project reached 41 billion VND, with Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. serving as the primary contractor.
Thanks to the “three shifts, four crews” working spirit, the facility was completed in just over four months. Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Tran Duy Dong emphasized that the project demonstrates the province’s commitment to remote and disadvantaged areas. He praised the contractors for “overcoming the sun and rain” to meet the accelerated deadline.
During the visit, Chairman Tran Duy Dong also emphasized the commune’s future responsibilities, including the successful organization of the upcoming 16th National Assembly elections and the 2026-2031 People’s Council elections. He urged the local government to ensure effective maintenance of the new facility and to prioritize social welfare policies for the poor during the Tet holiday.

Chairman Tran Duy Dong visits and talks with citizens at the Trung Son Commune Public Administration Service Center.
