Hy Cuong Commune Announces Two 1/2000 Scale Zone Planning Schemes

On the afternoon of October 30, the Hy Cuong Commune People’s Committee organized a conference to announce the 1/2000 scale Zone Planning Schemes for Zone No. 4A and Zone No. 4B in Hy Cuong commune.

According to the 1/2000 scale Zone Planning Scheme for Zone No. 4A, the planning formulation area covers a total surface area of approximately 693.58 hectares, with a planning timeframe extending through 2040 and a projected population scale of around 13,000 people. Among this area, over 301 hectares are allocated for existing rural residential areas; nearly 12 hectares for developing new housing and social housing; approximately 83.5 hectares for green space land, over 65 hectares of water surface, and more than 97 hectares of transport land. The scheme aims to form a green, modern development space that harmonizes urban development with ecological landscape preservation, elevating citizens' quality of life.

For Zone No. 4B, the total planning formulation area covers approximately 897.29 hectares—bordered to the north by the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, to the west by Xuan Lung and Lam Thao communes, to the south by Phung Nguyen commune, and to the east by Zone No. 4A. The planning timeframe extends through 2040, with a projected population scale of around 13,600 people. The planning space is organized synchronously and modernly, linking urban development with landscape preservation. Among this, Chu Hoa Park is identified as a highlight for green space, experiential tourism, and community activities.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Quang Huy — Vice Chairman of the Hy Cuong Commune People’s Committee — emphasized that the approved planning schemes serve as vital legal bases and orientations for local development. Implementation must guarantee appropriate roadmaps that are focused and key-point oriented, aligning closely with resources and practical conditions.

To ensure the schemes are early and effectively deployed, the Hy Cuong Commune People’s Committee determined to continue promoting the leadership role of the Party Committee, the coordination of the People’s Council, the Fatherland Front Committee, and socio-political organizations; while focusing on propaganda to create consensus and promoting the supervision role of cadres, party members, and citizens. Through this, step-by-step realizing planning orientations to build Hy Cuong commune toward civilized, modern, and sustainable development.
