In recent years, with financial sources and contributions from individuals, enterprises, and the public, it has been determined that transportation infrastructure plays a significant role in implementing industrialization, modernization, and the construction of new rural regions. Our province has renewed thousands of kilometers of rural roads, invested in upgrading or opening many new connecting, inter-regional, and foreign roads, and built many new bridges across the river, which not only creates favorable conditions for people’s travel needs, but also enhances trade activities and promotes local socio-economic development.

As the province’s political, economic, and cultural hub, Viet Tri City has consistently prioritized transportation investment to synchronously connect relevant infrastructure systems, satisfying the demands of the growth process. The finished transportation infrastructure has connected commodities production regions in the province as well as commerce with adjacent provinces. In 2022, Phu Tho has attracted 75 projects with a total registered capital of more than VND29 trillion, 10 of which are in industrial parks. Convenient transportation also provides a chance for the province to deepen collaboration and attract enterprises to engage in significant tourist and service projects in Viet Tri city and districts such as Tam Nong, Thanh Thuy, Ha Hoa, Tan Son, and so on. As a result, tourist operations rebounded and thrived over the year, with tourism earnings projected at VND2,650 billion.
