On the morning of January 31 (the 3rd day of Tet), Lam Thao Town in Lam Thao District held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Spring Festival with a variety of cultural activities.
The Spring Festival in Lam Thao Town runs from the 3rd to the 7th of the first lunar month, featuring many unique cultural and artistic activities. These include offering incense at local historical sites, a procession carrying the statues of Mrs. King and Mr. King (Princess Nguyet Cu and Prince Ly Van Lang) from Dong Chan Temple to the main temple (Den Nha Ba), and cultural activities related to the Xoan singing tradition, promoting and showcasing the local traditional cultural beauty to visitors.
After the opening ceremony, the town organized a procession with offerings of five-fruit trays and five-colored cakes from the house of the chief priest at the Tien Moi area to the Third Princess Temple (also known as the Princess Temple) in Tan Trung, where a ritual ceremony took place.
