The People’s Committee of Thuong Coc Commune, Phu Tho Commune convened a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the 2025 Mien Doi Terraced Fields Festival. This cultural and tourism event is eagerly anticipated by local residents and visitors alike. According to the plan, the festival will take place over two days, October 18–19, 2025.
At the meeting, the Organizing Committee discussed and approved the draft plan. The Committee emphasized that it would mobilize maximum resources while calling for the consensus and support of all local people, businesses, tourists to ensure the festival’s success and leave a lasting impression.

In 2024, the Mien Doi Terraced Fields Festival affirmed its strong appeal. The event was held in conjunction with the OCOP fair, showcasing and introducing a wide range of local specialty products, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from within and outside the province.

The festival’s highlight is the majestic beauty of over 400 hectares of Mien Doi terraced fields during the ripening rice season. Some terraces are situated next to waterfalls, creating an even more spectacular and poetic landscape. The harmony between nature and human labor has created a unique value, turning the terraced fields into Mien Doi’s signature tourism attraction.
Beyond admiring the landscapes, the festival also offers visitors opportunities to explore local culture, especially that of the Muong ethnic group. Traditional rituals such as the new rice celebration, vibrant Muong gong performances, and various cultural, sports, and folk games.
