Over 429,000 Workers in Phu Tho Province Join the “Trade Union Meal” Program
In line with the directive of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Phu Tho Provincial Confederation of Labor issued guidelines for organizing the “Trade Union Meal” program in 2025. After two months of implementation (July and August), a total of 981 units providing shift meals participated, accounting for 77.3%. Many units organized the activity twice.
There are 429,102 workers at enterprises across Phu Tho Province participating in this program, with additional funding from the Trade Union exceeding VND 2.3 billion. The meal portions were enhanced, ranging from VND 20,000 to 200,000 per person.
Leaders of the Phu Tho Provincial Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Industrial Zone Trade Union encourage workers during the meal.
The “Trade Union Meal” program has been implemented by the Phu Tho Provincial Confederation of Labor since 2018. This program has now become an annual activity at many grassroots trade unions.
