The patriotic emulation movement in Phu Tho province has spread across every aspect of social life, turning challenges into opportunities and willpower into action. These movements have generated comprehensive breakthroughs, helping Phu Tho advance steadily on its path of renewal and development.

Officials and public servants in Phu Tho province are promoting office culture and building a people-oriented administration through emulation movements.
During the 2020–2025 period, the provincial Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho have creatively implemented the Politburo’s Directives No. 34 and No. 41 on reforming emulation and commendation work. Numerous patriotic emulation movements have been launched in a unified and focused manner.
A major highlight of this phase is the strong innovation in organizational methods, bringing the movements closer to grassroots levels and centering them around ordinary citizens, workers, and laborers. This approach has mobilized the collective strength of society and spread widely from urban to rural areas.
Many key projects have overcome obstacles and accelerated progress. A typical example is the Phong Chau Bridge construction project on National Highway 32C. Built under an emergency order with decisive direction from the Government and the active participation of all levels and sectors, the project was completed in only nine months, three months ahead of schedule - a true testament to determination and resolve.
If these infrastructure projects are shaping a modern, vibrant Phu Tho, then grassroots emulation movements are transforming rural areas and improving people’s living standards. The movement “Joining Hands to Build New Rural Areas” has become a large-scale, enthusiastic. Thanks to this collective effort, village roads and alleys are now paved with concrete, cultural houses stand proudly, and the living environment develops greener and cleaner each day. By the end of 2025, the province is expected to have 73 out of 133 communes meeting new rural standards and 6 communes achieving advanced or model new rural status.
The provincial People’s Committee has also proactively launched emulation movements tailored to local characteristics, unlocking potential across all fields. Movements such as “Good Labor,” “Creative Labor,” and “Promoting Technical Innovation and Improvement” have encouraged enterprises to overcome challenges and achieve remarkable growth figures.
The province’s average annual economic growth rate is estimated at 7.5%; its 2025 economic scale is expected to reach 390 trillion VND, 1.56 times that of 2020, with a per capita GRDP of approximately 105.2 million VND.
Across all sectors, emulation has truly become a key driving force for development.
