From March 5 to 7, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in collaboration with the Phu Tho Tourism Association, welcomed the fam trip group “Colors of Tourism in the Land of Ancestors-Go to Love” to survey tourism in Viet Tri City and the districts of Thanh Son, Tan Son, and Thanh Thuy.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, along with representatives from the Hung Temple Historical Site, presented flowers to welcome the fam trip delegation as they embarked on their tourism survey in Phu Tho.
The 30-member fam trip group, consisting of representatives from travel agencies, media companies, and journalists from across the country, explored various destinations, experienced distinctive tourism products and services, and gained insights into the unique heritage and culture of the Ancestral Land. Their itinerary included offering incense and learning about cultural heritage at the Hung Temple Historical Site, assessing service quality at Sen Vang Restaurant and Coi Nguon Restaurant, visiting Hung Lo Ancient Village to enjoy Xoan singing at Hung Lo Communal House (Viet Tri City), and surveying tourism services at select restaurants, hotels, and resorts in Thanh Son, Tan Son, and Thanh Thuy districts.

During their visit to Hung Lo Ancient Village, the fam trip group participated in a hands-on experience of making banh chung, a traditional Vietnamese rice cake.
At each survey site, the delegation expressed their admiration for the unique cultural characteristics of the local ethnic communities, the quality of tourism services, and the region’s transportation infrastructure. They also provided valuable feedback and suggestions to enhance tourism products and improve service quality.
This fam trip serves as an opportunity for the local tourism sector and stakeholders to promote, introduce, and advertise tourism routes and products, especially in preparation for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the Year of the At Ty 2025. Additionally, the event fosters new partnerships and collaborations between Phu Tho’s tourism businesses and domestic service providers, contributing to the expansion and recognition of Phu Tho’s tourism offerings among both domestic and international visitors.
