Located about 80 km from Hanoi, Cao Phong Commune possesses many advantages for tourism development. From spiritual tourism to eco-tourism experiencing orchards laden with fruit, or relaxing amid vast flower spaces, Cao Phong offers unique and memorable experiences for tourists.

Cao Phong holds significant potential to develop various forms of tourism linked with natural landscapes, culture, religious beliefs, community tourism, resort stays, and experiential activities. Among these, the Dau Rong Mountain Cave Complex stands out as a prominent destination with natural, historical, and cultural values, contributing to creating a highlight in local tourism development.

The Mung Village area benefits from natural landscapes, village spaces, and community tourism activities. The village has established accommodation facilities, homestays, and glamping sites, enabling tourists to experience the ecological space, local lifestyle, and community culture.

In addition, Bong Lai Temple and Dong Son Temple, alongside other sightseeing spots and service facilities in the area, contribute to forming a diverse destination system that meets visitors' needs for sightseeing, relaxation, hands-on experiences, and spiritual tourism.

Currently, the People’s Committee of Cao Phong Commune aims to continue leveraging landscape, cultural, and spiritual values as well as community tourism products, while encouraging organizations and individuals to invest, upgrade service quality, and develop more signature local products.

Orchards laden with fruit offer a memorable experience for visitors to Cao Phong.

A special highlight of Cao Phong tourism is its fruit-laden orange orchards. Starting every year in September, Wenzhou mandarins are harvested, followed by yellow-fleshed oranges, Xa Doai oranges, V2 oranges, and Canh mandarins, extending all the way to late May and early June of the following year.

Hand-picking ripe, juicy golden oranges from heavily laden trees and tasting sweet VietGAP-standard fruits right in the garden is a memorable experience for visitors to Cao Phong. Currently, many orchard owners in the Cao Phong area are upgrading their orange gardens into tourism spots that attract large numbers of visitors.

Identifying communication and promotion work as a key task to introduce the image, people, landscapes, culture, and tourism products of Cao Phong to a wide audience of tourists, the commune has proactively introduced prominent destinations, accommodation facilities, and signature tourism products over the past period. It also encourages local businesses to actively promote their images, products, and services across information platforms, social networks, and appropriate media channels.

Focus is placed on promoting high-potential destinations such as the Dau Rong Mountain Cave Complex, Mung Village, Bong Lai Temple, Dong Son Temple, homestays, glamping sites, and hands-on products tied to natural landscapes, culture, and community life. Tourism products are gradually taking shape and developing toward diversity, linked with natural scenery, culture, religious beliefs, community tourism, resort stays, and experiential activities.

In the first 6 months of 2026, tourism service operations in the commune continued to be maintained and developed. The total number of tourists visiting and staying at local tourism spots reached an estimated 31,221; revenue reached an estimated nearly 2.4 billion VND.

Accommodation facilities, sightseeing spots, and tourism service businesses are step-by-step diversifying their activities to serve visitors, contributing to meeting the needs of local residents and tourists for sightseeing, relaxation, hands-on experiences, and exploring culture and religious beliefs.

Comrade Hoang Minh Hieu, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cao Phong Commune, stated: “To build Cao Phong into an attractive destination, step-by-step form signature products, raise service quality, and increase tourists' length of stay and experience, the commune continues to strengthen state management of tourism. We guide organizations and individuals to properly comply with legal regulations in tourism, accommodation, and visitor service business activities.”

Along with that, the commune is stepping up communication and promotion of its image, potential, and tourism products across mass media and social networks; encouraging the development of community tourism, experiential tourism, resort stays, agricultural experiences, and cultural-spiritual tourism; and leveraging natural landscape advantages and local cultural identity.

The commune also focuses on improving service quality, infrastructure facilities, and service style; building signature products that create appeal and increase the ability to retain visitors. It is strengthening linkages with travel enterprises as well as tourism spots inside and outside the region to build tour routes and sightseeing itineraries, gradually expanding markets and attracting tourists to Cao Phong.

Alongside tourism development, the locality continues to perform well in landscape protection, environmental hygiene, security, order, and safety for tourists; building a civilized, friendly tourism environment that leaves a good impression on visitors coming for sightseeing and relaxation in Cao Phong.
