As of the end of Q3/2026, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue across the province were estimated at over 129,401 billion VND, an increase of 17% year-on-year and equivalent to 75% of the annual plan. Among this, retail goods revenue reached more than 86,411 billion VND, accounting for nearly 67% of the total; other consumer service revenue increased by 28.08%; and food and beverage services grew by 30.64%.
Notably, activities linked with tourism recorded the highest growth rates. Accommodation service revenue reached over 1,835 billion VND, up 45.66%; travel services reached over 1,022 billion VND, surging by 85.05%. However, travel service revenue currently accounts for only about 0.8% of total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue. This result indicates rapid market recovery, though the direct revenue scale generated from tour organization and exploitation remains modest.

To boost consumer spending in the final months of the year, the Department of Industry and Trade proposed expanding promotional programs and supply-demand connections; bringing Vietnamese goods to rural, mountainous, and industrial areas, as well as locations with high worker concentrations. Enterprises, supermarkets, commercial centers, and e-commerce platforms are encouraged to organize seasonal sales events, expand distribution channels, and increase consumer accessibility.
The Industry and Trade sector is also stepping up consumption linkages for OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and key agricultural goods; constructing smart market and digital market management systems; while researching the development of new commercial models such as outlet centers and logistics services.
Alongside demand stimulation, functional forces will inspect supply sources, selling prices, and product quality; handling counterfeit goods, smuggled goods, and items of unknown origin. Trade promotion programs are required to be evaluated by sales volume, consumed goods volume, and retail revenue growth rates—rather than solely counting the number of organized events.
