Brilliant colors of sunflowers

These days, coming to Van Lang Park (Viet Tri City), visitors can admire thousands of sunflowers showing off their brilliant colors.

The sunflower garden at Van Lang Park was planted in early March. After more than two months of care, the sunflowers are now in full bloom. Since the beginning of May, the flower garden has attracted many visitors both inside and outside the province to visit and take souvenir photos.

Sunflowers, also known as sun flowers, have thin, bright yellow petals with prominent brown pistils. The stem is straight, sunflower leaves are often very large, staggered, dark green in color, highlighting the yellow color of the flower. Both sides of sunflower leaves are covered with white hair.

To create a highlight for Van Lang Park, “Each season has typical flowers”, for many years, the city has invested in planting more trees and flower gardens such as sunflowers, buckwheat, and yellow mustard flowers.

Up to now, it has been the 5th year that sunflowers have been planted at Van Lang Park, contributing to creating a highlight for the green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape, aiming to build Viet Tri into a worth living city.
