Building Adaptive and Reliable Supply Chains Amidst Global Volatility

On June 2, Vietnam SuperPort, in strategic coordination with the Transported Asset Protection Association Asia Pacific (TAPA APAC), organized a high-level conference themed “Building Adaptive and Reliable Supply Chains Amidst Global Volatility.” Attending the convention was Mr. Vu Viet Van—Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor of the Provincial People’s Committee—alongside executive representatives from provincial departments and sectors.

Keynote speeches and panel discussions at the summit collectively underscored that global supply chains are currently enduring severe friction from multi-dimensional macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility. Against this turbulent backdrop, pivoting toward the architectural design of highly secure, resilient supply chains has emerged as an urgent imperative.

In Phu Tho, Vietnam SuperPort stands as the province’s top-tier flagship logistics project. The hub has successfully acquired all critical security credentials, fully priming it to operationalize a smart, highly secure integrated logistics corridor network. Experts at the panel requested the provincial administration and the corporate sector to guarantee the engineering of an adaptive logistics ecosystem built atop a multi-modal, modernized, smart, and sustainable connectivity platform.

This strategic alignment is poised to step-by-step upscale the global competitive edge of Vietnamese enterprises within global supply chains, driving a powerful impulse into the macroeconomic growth of individual localities and Vietnam at large.

Addressing the assembly, Vice Governor Vu Viet Van emphasized that Vietnam SuperPort operates as one of the province’s key anchor investments within the logistics sector, playing a vital role in elevating multi-modal transport connectivity, capturing foreign direct investment (FDI), and booming regional industrial and commercial growth.

The Vice Governor highly valued the continuous partnership of TAPA Asia Pacific in empowering Vietnam SuperPort to align with advanced global metrics regarding asset protection and supply chain security risk management, satisfying the increasingly stringent mandates of the international market.

He re-affirmed that the Phu Tho provincial administration is fiercely committed to accompanying investors to ensure projects advance on schedule and with maximum efficiency. Concurrently, the province will tirelessly refine a transparent, business-friendly, and safe investment climate, accelerating the collective growth of the logistics sector across both Vietnam and Phu Tho Province.
