Chieng Noi Hamlet in Thanh Son Commune, Phu Tho Province is home to more than 70% Muong ethnic residents who have preserved many unique cultural features, from language, traditional costumes, and folk performing arts to the distinctive stilt houses. Particularly, the effective operation of the Chieng Noi Muong Ethnic Cultural Club has played an important role in safeguarding and promoting the beauty of Muong culture.

The Chieng Noi Muong ethnic cultural Club has over 50 members who regularly perform Muong gong e at cultural events of Phu Tho province and Thanh Son commune.
