The conference stands as one of the key activities within the framework of the stimulus program “Phu Tho Tourism – Vibrant Experience,” combining spaces for display, cultural-tourism promotion, OCOP products, and the 2026 Vietnamese Goods Fair.

The program aims to link promotional and trade promotion activities with tourism stimulus, introducing local signature products to widespread tourists while driving consumer demand.

Leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance report on the situation of connecting production and consumption of representative products of cooperatives in 2026.

Statistics through the end of September 2026 indicate that Phu Tho has 1,627 operating cooperatives with over 211,000 members, generating regular employment for more than 75,000 workers. Among these, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance counts 677 official member cooperatives.

Recently, numerous representative products and OCOP products of local cooperatives have step-by-step affirmed their quality, expanded market reach, gained entry into modern distribution systems and e-commerce platforms, and successfully connected several sustainable production-consumption supply chains.

However, product consumption among cooperatives still faces challenges such as small-scale production, unstable output volume, and limited capacity to fulfill large orders... Coupled with these are bottlenecks in completing legal documentation, planting area codes, and standardizing quality according to strict criteria demanded by modern markets.

Rapporteurs at the conference disseminate important guidelines and policies on trade promotion and product consumption.

The conference created a direct, practical networking space connecting production units with distributors. Cooperatives directly introduced their potential, signature products, supply capacity, and raised specific difficulties encountered during distribution. Enterprises and distribution units also shared insights regarding market demand, quality standards, packaging, pricing, and cooperation methods.

Through the conference, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance affirmed it will continue shifting from simple support methods to market-driven support linked with value chains; accompanying cooperatives in promotional work, trade promotion, and supply-demand matching to help parties translate commitments into formal contracts and long-term cooperation agreements. Through this, the initiative contributes to raising value addition, boosting the competitiveness of Phu Tho OCOP products, and increasing incomes for cooperative members and workers.
