On December 2 (i.e., November 2 of the lunar calendar), the District Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Doan Hung district and Chi Dam commune held an incense offering ceremony on the occasion of the “Deity transformation” ceremony at Dinh Ca, Chi Dam commune.
The leaders of Doan Hung district performed rituals at Dinh Ca in the “Deity transformation” ceremony.
Dinh Ca, Chi Dam commune worships General Cao Son; this is a relic in the system of relics worshiping Hung King and generals, figures of the Hung King era. Dinh Ca was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic in 1994. The Dinh Ca festival is held on January 6 and November 2 (lunar calendar) every year.
Dinh Ca, Chi Dam commune, Doan Hung district - a place to worship General Cao Son, who had great merit in helping the 18th Hung King in the war with Thuc Phan to preserve the country during the Van Lang - Au Lac period.
On the occasion of the “God’s transformation” festival, with the tradition of “remembering the source of water when drinking,” the leaders of Doan Hung district, the leaders of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Chi Dam commune sincerely offered incense, flowers, and gifts to express their respect and gratitude to the ancestors who founded the country and reported to Cao Son Kieu Ung Dai Vuong on the results in implementing political tasks, socio-economic development, security, and defense that the district has achieved in 2024. The Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the district will always unite, promote strength, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully carry out the proposed political tasks, and build Doan Hung homeland to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized.
