Enterprises Proactively Integrate Internationally and Participate in the Global Value Chain

In the context of rapidly changing global economics and increasingly deep integration, the business community in the province is proactively innovating, expanding international cooperation, and gradually participating deeper into the global value chain. The application of technology, the improvement of production processes, and the effective exploitation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) have helped many enterprises enhance their competitiveness, develop their brands, and affirm their position in the international market.

Enterprises Proactively Integrate Internationally and Participate in the Global Value Chain

Haesung Vina Co., Ltd. (Khai Quang Industrial Park, Vinh Phuc ward) is a first class vendor for Samsung, specializing in manufacturing Lenses, cameras, mobile phone cameras, and precision optical instruments.

One of the key factors enabling enterprises to integrate successfully is the local government’s support. Functional agencies have innovated the format and content of propaganda regarding FTAs; developed e-commerce to enhance transaction capabilities, market searching, and expansion; proactively promoted investment and attracted large investors; and supported enterprises throughout the production and business process to meet rules of origin and better utilize opportunities from FTAs, especially the new-generation FTAs.

To enhance the effectiveness of enterprise support, the province established a special task force and set up hotlines to serve enterprises. The Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support plays a core role in professionalizing support activities. The “Entrepreneur Coffee” model creates an open forum for exchange between enterprises and functional agencies, contributing to the timely resolution of difficulties and obstacles.

In recent times, the province has continued to accelerate administrative procedure reform, simplifying investment processes and applying information technology in handling dossiers, which helps reduce time and costs for enterprises. The mechanism for regular dialogue between the government and the business community is maintained, helping to increase satisfaction levels and build trust with investors. Annually, the province implements programs to improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and organizes many dialogue conferences on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day to receive, respond to, and promptly resolve enterprise proposals.

Foreign affairs work has been expanded and deepened. The province effectively maintains cooperation with localities in Laos, Japan, South Korea, and China; and established relations with many foreign localities such as Italy, Bulgaria, and Cuba. Trade missions for investment promotion in the US, Europe, and Asia, along with hosting international visitors, contribute to promoting the province’s image, potential, and investment opportunities to the world.

Currently, the entire province has over 40 thousand active enterprises across various sectors. Many enterprises are seizing opportunities from new-generation FTAs such as the CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP, and trade agreements with Israel and the UAE; focusing on restructuring production, innovating technology, improving product quality, and building brands to increase export value. Consequently, many of the province’s key products such as tea, processed agricultural products, textiles, and electronics... have expanded their markets thanks to tariff preferences.

In the 10 months of 2025: The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increased by 26.94%; Budget revenue is estimated to reach 47.5 trillion VND, equivalent to 118% of the central government’s assigned estimate; Export turnover reached 29.68 billion USD, ranking 4th nationwide.

The proactive international integration and deep participation in the global value chain are becoming an important strategy, helping enterprises in the province enhance their competitiveness, achieve sustainable development, and build international brands, thereby making positive contributions to the economic development of the province and the whole country.
