On February 27, Ky Son Ward officially opened the 2026 Highland Market for the Year of the Horse, creating a vibrant cultural and commercial hub that attracted a large number of local residents and tourists.

This year, the program features over 40 stalls showcasing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, handicrafts, and traditional signature cuisines from the locality and neighboring areas.

Alongside trading activities, the program also organizes cultural exchanges, folk games, and culinary competitions, creating a communal space deeply imbued with national identity.

According to the leadership of the Ky Son Ward People’s Committee, throughout 2025—amidst the implementation of the two-level local government model—the ward continued to promote a spirit of proactivity and creativity while enhancing the effectiveness of state management. Agricultural and forestry production models have been maintained and expanded toward higher quality and market connectivity.
