The market is an annual event held every Lunar New Year and Spring season, contributing to the promotion of trade, the marketing of local products, and the preservation of highland cultural identity. This year, the program features over 40 stalls showcasing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, handicrafts, and traditional signature cuisines from the locality and neighboring areas.
Alongside trading activities, the program also organizes cultural exchanges, folk games, and culinary competitions, creating a communal space deeply imbued with national identity.

According to the leadership of the Ky Son Ward People’s Committee, throughout 2025—amidst the implementation of the two-level local government model—the ward continued to promote a spirit of proactivity and creativity while enhancing the effectiveness of state management. The economy remained stable, with trade and services seeing gradual improvement. Agricultural and forestry production models have been maintained and expanded toward higher quality and market connectivity. Poverty reduction, job creation, and social security have been implemented synchronously, while the cultural and social sectors have seen many positive changes, and national defense and security have been firmly maintained.
The Highland Market is not only a place for exchanging goods but also an opportunity to promote the potential, advantages, and image of the land and people of Ky Son to friends and visitors. Furthermore, it supports local producers and businesses in expanding their markets, contributing to the goal of economic development integrated with the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values.

Folk games attract a large number of participants.
The Ky Son Ward Highland Market – Spring 2026 took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere, marking the beginning of a new year with high expectations for the locality’s socio-economic development.
