On February 12, Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to the management and workers of Vietnam Precision Industrial No. 1 Co., Ltd. (VPIC1) and Vinh Phuc No. 1 Water Supply and Drainage JSC.

He was accompanied by leaders from the Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board and the Departments of Home Affairs, Finance, Construction, and Agriculture and Environment.

A 100% Taiwan-invested enterprise operating in the province since 2001, VPIC1 specializes in manufacturing components and spare parts for motorcycles and automobiles. In 2025, the company continued its robust growth with a revenue of over $300 million, contributing 226 billion VND to the State budget and providing stable employment for nearly 4,300 workers.

With the philosophy that “employees are the greatest asset,” the company consistently ensures full compliance with labor policies under Vietnamese law. Specifically, for the 2026 Lunar New Year, the company granted an average Tet bonus of nearly 30 million VND per person along with festive gifts, ensuring all employees enjoy a warm holiday season.

Vinh Phuc No. 1 Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company has 7 water production plants and 2 construction enterprises. In 2025, the company’s production and business activities will experience new developments, ensuring timely water supply for production, business activities and people’s lives. During the year, the company will supply 18 million m3 of clean water, an increase of 3.1% compared to 2024, to more than 51,000 customers; total revenue will reach over 260 billion VND, an increase of 8.8% compared to the plan and 17.5% compared to 2024; after-tax profit will reach over 8 billion VND, achieving 113% of the plan.

For 2026, the company aims for a total revenue of over 290 billion VND, a consumption volume of 21 million m3, and a State budget contribution of 23 billion VND. The average monthly income of employees is targeted at 13.5 million VND, with after-tax profits of 15 billion VND. The company also pledged to ensure an uninterrupted water supply throughout the peak days of the Tet holiday.

Commending and highly valuing the achievements of the companies over the past year, particularly in their efforts to improve workers' well-being and implement social welfare policies, Chairman Tran Duy Dong urged Vietnam Precision Industrial No. 1 Co., Ltd. to continue investing in and expanding its production of components and spare parts to meet the demands of domestic and international automotive partners.

For Vinh Phuc No. 1 Water Supply and Drainage JSC, the Chairman suggested further research into expanding the water supply network, especially to industrial zones and rural areas. He also emphasized the need to enhance the application of scientific and technological advances in water resource management to ensure high-quality water for both production and daily life.

The Chairman also encouraged the companies to pay even greater attention to the material and spiritual lives of their workers and to continue their active participation in social security activities. He reaffirmed that Phu Tho Province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to expand their operations and achieve stable, long-term growth within the province.
