According to vendors at the Da Trang Pass area, the beauty of Ba Khan valley was only discovered recently by backpacking travelers. In 2018, Mai Chau Hideaway, the first tourism resort invested and put into operation, became one of the standout eco-tourism destinations, particularly attracting international visitors. Following Mai Chau Hideaway, another high-end resort, Ba Khan Village Resort, was also launched.

In the summer, Ba Khan valley serves as an ideal place to escape the heat. In autumn, the climate here is fresh and mild, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. In winter, the cold weather adds to its charm, with misty landscapes and warm fireside gatherings in traditional stilt houses nestled against the hills.
