Nestled within the lush green hills of Hong Sinh village, Hai Luu commune, the 16,000-square-meter Song Lo clean grape farm—owned by a young man named Tran Duy Doan (born in 1997)—is becoming an attractive destination for both local and out-of-province tourists. The heavy-laden grape trellises not only bring high economic value but also offer a unique experiential and check-in space, contributing to promoting local clean agriculture and rural tourism.

Driven by a passion for clean agriculture, after a long period of researching and learning, the young entrepreneur Tran Duy Doan successfully started his business by cultivating Summer Black and Shine Muscat (Korean milk) grapes on hilly terrain.

From a piece of abandoned land used only for short-term food crops, Tran Duy Doan transformed the barren soil into a lush, green vineyard.

Building on the initial success of a 3,600-square-meter grape plot, after 6 years of expansion, the farm’s total grape cultivation area has now reached 16,000 square meters. In 2023, the farm’s Summer Black and Shine Muscat grapes were certified to meet VietGAP standards.

To raise awareness of the clean grape farm, Doan has promoted imagery of the vineyard on social media networks and registered its location pins on Google Maps.

Young children are delighted to gaze at the ripe, juicy bunches of grapes.

The photo contest “Lost in Song Lo Grape Farm” is currently attracting 300 to 400 visitors from all over to check in at the farm every day.

By guaranteeing both safety criteria and premium quality—yielding fragrant, sweet, and crunchy grapes—the Song Lo clean grape farm has become a go-to destination for distant and near tourists on agricultural tourism experiences.

Approximately 70% of the grape yield is retailed directly at the vineyard to visiting and experiential tourists, while the remaining portion is supplied to the Aeon supermarket chain in Hanoi and Hai Phong.

Visiting the farm, tourists can enjoy free check-ins and stop by the guest reception area to rest, taste fresh grapes cut straight from the vines, and sip sweet, fragrant grape juice.

The Shine Muscat vineyard will be ready for harvest in about a month.

On average each year, the grape farm supplies 16 to 17 tons of grapes to the market, generating a revenue of around 2 billion VND.
