The Hung Kings worshiping belief - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, is a symbol of our people’s respect and gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings in building the country. Currently, the whole country has more than 1,400 relics worshiping King Hungs and figures related to the Hung Kings’ era. From the central region of Phu Tho province, this belief has spread strongly throughout all regions of the country. No matter where they go or where they live, every Vietnamese person always looks towards their roots and ancestors with a sincere and grateful heart.

In 2022, Hung Kings’ Temple in Can Tho City was inaugurated and put into service for a large number of people. This is a unique cultural and spiritual work, rich in national identity, and has important historical significance for the Mekong Delta and the country. The main temple block has a circular architecture on a square base, symbolizing heaven and earth.

Lam Dong is one of the localities with many Hung Kings’ Temples. In particular, the construction system was built at Phuong Hoang Mountain in the Pren Waterfall National Scenic Complex simulating the Hung Kings’ National Ancestor Temple on Nghia Linh Mountain (Phu Tho) with three main items: Thuong (Upper) Temple, Trung (Middle) Temple, Ha (Lower) Temple along with many other items such as Hung Vuong Park, Lac Long Quan and Au Co Statues,... The temple was built in 1958, and in 1989 it was renovated and received incense sticks from Hung Kings’ Temple in Phu Tho. Since then, every year on the 10th day of the third lunar month, people of all ethnic groups in Lam Dong province hold a solemn incense offering ceremony. The festival program is organized with many cultural performances, traditional performances, and folk games of ethnic groups living together in localities in the province.
Stretching from North to South, in many provinces and cities across the country, there are relics worshiping Hung Kings such as: Van Cu Temple in Dong Son commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province worships Hung Kings. In Nghe An province, there is Hong Son Temple, Hong Son ward, Vinh city built in 1831, also worshiping Hung Kings. In Khanh Hoa, in 1970, people built the Hung Kings’ Temple and completed it three years later. Hung Kings’ Temple in Dong Nai province was started construction in 1968, completed in 1971 in Quarter 3, Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City. From the land of origin of the nation, the belief of worshiping Hung Kings has had a strong pervasiveness, so that every Vietnamese person in every region of the country is always deeply aware of preserving, conserving and constantly spreading it further in the community.
