From April 9 - 18 (i.e. the 1st - 10th of the third lunar month), Hung Kings Museum - Viet Tri City, Provincial Library, Hung Kings Museum - Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Site organize an exhibition of artifacts, documentary heritage, books, newspapers, and photo materials to serve people and tourists.
At this event, Hung Kings Museum - Viet Tri City will organize a thematic exhibition “Cultural Heritage of the Fatherland” to introduce to the public two intangible cultural heritages: Hung Kings Worshiping Belief and Phu Tho Xoan Singing, with 140 typical and unique artifacts and images of the Hung Kings’ Temple Festival past and present, relics worshiping Hung Kings and figures of the Hung Kings’ period; some typical traditional festivals of the province; relics associated with Xoan singing, performance sequences, customs in Xoan singing... The museum also shows videos and documentaries about the process of building records, preserving and promoting the heritage values of Hung Vuong Worshiping Belief and Phu Tho Xoan Singing.
The provincial library displays over 1,500 documents including books, newspapers, magazines, research works on Hung Kings’ Temple and Hung King Worshiping Belief, cultural heritages of the Fatherland, Phu Tho Xoan Singing; history, geography, culture and art of Phu Tho... along with artistic book folding models.
Also on this occasion, Hung Kings Museum - Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Site coordinated with Hanoi Museum to organize a thematic exhibition “Vietnam’s national name and capital in Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks - World documentary heritage” that aims to introduce to the public the history of naming and changing the national name and capital of Vietnam from the beginning to the Nguyen Dynasty, engraved and reprinted on woodblocks of national historical records during the feudal period.
