A palanquin procession to the Hung King Temple Historical Relic took plsce on April 15 (lunar march 7th) from communes, wards, and towns surrounding the Relic Area.
Members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Committee attented the event: Ho Dai Dung-Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hung King’s Death Anniversary and Hung King Temple Festival and Ancestral Land Culture-Tourism Week 2024; Bui Dinh Thi-Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organizing Committee; Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong-Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
Delegates distributed souvenir flags to delegations taking part in the parade.
This year’s palanquin procession comprises seven communes, wards, and towns on the fringes of the relic site, including Hy Cuong, Hung Lo, Kim Duc, and Chu Hoa communes, Van Phu ward in Viet Tri city, Hung Son town, Tien Kien commune in Lam Thao district.
The palanquin take turns entering the festival’s center yard.
