After the merger, the province now has a total of 979 ranked relics. Among these are 6 Special National Relic Sites: The Hung Kings Temple Historic Site; Tay Thien – Tam Dao; Binh Son Tower; Tho Tang Communal House; Huong Canh Communal House Cluster; and the Xom Trai Cave & Lang Van Rock Shelter. Additionally, the province holds 176 National Relics and 79 Provincial Relics.

In terms of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the province currently has 5 heritages inscribed by UNESCO: The Worship of Hung Kings in Phu Tho; Xoan Singing; Tug-of-war rituals and games (Huong Canh “Kéo Song”); Ca Tru Singing; and the Practices related to the Viet beliefs in the Mother Goddesses of Three Realms (spread area).
There are also 41 National Intangible Cultural Heritages and 6 National Treasures, including: The Hung Temple Bronze Drum; The Bronze Belt Buckle Set; The Nha Chuong (Scepter) Collection; The Statue of Mother Au Co; The Stone Buddhist Altar; and the Glazed Ceramic Tower of Tro Pagoda.

In 2025, Phu Tho province finalized 6 dossiers requesting the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to include the following in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage: The “Cuop Ken” Festival (Di Nau Commune); the “Tet Doi” of the Muong people (Thu Cuc Commune); the traditional craft of “Pattern decoration on Muong women’s skirt waists”; “Thuong Rang” and “Bo Meng” singing of the Muong people; the “Going to the Field” (Xuong Dong) ceremony of the Cao Lan people; and the Dan Tri Spring Festival.
Furthermore, the 1970 Youth Economic Zone Site in Minh Dai commune was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic, along with 7 provincial-level historical and cultural relics. Surveys are underway to restore the “Ruoc Ong Khiu, Ba Khiu” Festival at Thanh Dinh Communal House (Hy Cuong Commune). The province is also preparing a dossier to nominate the Tien Pagoda historical-cultural and scenic complex for Special National Relic status, while finalizing the national ranking dossier for Hoang Chung Communal House (Tien Lu Commune). Notably, the Mo Muong dossier is being submitted to UNESCO for inscription on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.
