In the sacred atmosphere of the Tay Thien scenic landscape in Dai Dinh Commune, on the morning of March 30, ahead of the official opening of the 2026 Tay Thien Spring Festival (Year of the Horse), a solemn offering ceremony (also known as the Le Cao Yet) was held. This ritual serves to report the festival’s commencement to the National Mother of Tay Thien and the deities, praying for national peace, prosperity, and favorable weather.

The National Mother Temple at the Tay Thien scenic landscape in Dai Dinh Commune is ready for the opening day.
From early morning, a ceremonial procession with festival flags and traditional ritual music marched toward the Thuong Temple, the sanctuary dedicated to National Mother Lang Thi Tieu. Meticulously prepared offerings demonstrated the deep respect of the local people toward their ancestors who contributed to the defense and prosperity of the nation.
In the tranquil setting of the Tam Dao mountains, the incense offering and the reading of the formal announcement were performed with great solemnity. The text expressed profound gratitude and officially announced this year’s Tay Thien Festival, with prayers for a peaceful country and a prosperous, happy life for all citizens.
The offering ceremony not only marks the beginning of the Tay Thien Festival’s series of activities but also plays a vital role in preserving traditional spiritual and cultural values. It fosters a sense of pride and community solidarity among the people of the Phu Tho region.
