Welcoming the delegation, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Spain, Mr. Doan Thanh Song, expressed great delight and highly appraised Phu Tho’s strategic decision to select Spain as a primary destination for its global investment promotion campaign.

Reviewing the bilateral ties, Ambassador Doan Thanh Song emphasized that the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Spain is tightening on a highly positive trajectory, particularly following the momentous official visit of the Spanish President to Vietnam.

This high-level diplomatic momentum has drastically upscaled Vietnam’s global status and brand equity, capturing aggressive attention from top-tier, global high-tech conglomerates. According to the Ambassador, Spanish institutional investors and corporate boards are currently paying intense attention to Vietnam’s hard infrastructure grid—most notably its energy security capacities and power grid reliability—to ensure seamless operations amidst the production expansions of foreign entities.

In tandem with energy infrastructure, Spanish enterprises are actively seeking structured joint-venture and market-entry opportunities in Phu Tho across high-yield agribusiness and leisure tourism sectors. Currently, Spain commands globally superior capabilities in urban planning and advanced infrastructure architectures—a landscape where Vietnam is aggressively seeking modern solutions, including complex subterranean (underground) and aerial transport networks.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Deputy Secretary Bui Huy Vinh conveyed his profound gratitude to the Embassy of Vietnam in Spain for its proactive diplomatic bridging and institutional support in connecting the locality with Spanish partners.

The Deputy Secretary powerfully affirmed that the strategic insights shared by the Ambassador regarding Spanish corporate interests—ranging from railway logistics infrastructure and energy security to heritage tourism and modern transport layouts—flawlessly align with Phu Tho’s priority investment blueprints earmarked for the 2026–2030 strategic cycle.

Ultimately, he expressed his strong desire that the Embassy and Ambassador Doan Thanh Song personally continue to serve as a robust bilateral bridge, empowering Phu Tho Province to access and accelerate concrete cooperation frameworks with Spanish conglomerates and trade associations. This concerted diplomatic drive aims to convert untapped geoeconomic potentials into highly efficient, high-margin projects that yield tangible, long-term benefits for both sides.
