Phu Tho Provincial Delegation Visits and Holds Working Session with the Embassy of Vietnam in Spain

Within the framework of its strategic investment promotion itinerary in Europe, the high-level delegation of Phu Tho Province, led by Mr. Bui Huy Vinh—Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee—held an official working session with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Kingdom of Spain.

Welcoming the delegation, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Spain, Mr. Doan Thanh Song, expressed great delight and highly appraised Phu Tho’s strategic decision to select Spain as a primary destination for its global investment promotion campaign.

Reviewing the bilateral ties, Ambassador Doan Thanh Song emphasized that the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Spain is tightening on a highly positive trajectory, particularly following the momentous official visit of the Spanish President to Vietnam.

This high-level diplomatic momentum has drastically upscaled Vietnam’s global status and brand equity, capturing aggressive attention from top-tier, global high-tech conglomerates. According to the Ambassador, Spanish institutional investors and corporate boards are currently paying intense attention to Vietnam’s hard infrastructure grid—most notably its energy security capacities and power grid reliability—to ensure seamless operations amidst the production expansions of foreign entities.

In tandem with energy infrastructure, Spanish enterprises are actively seeking structured joint-venture and market-entry opportunities in Phu Tho across high-yield agribusiness and leisure tourism sectors. Currently, Spain commands globally superior capabilities in urban planning and advanced infrastructure architectures—a landscape where Vietnam is aggressively seeking modern solutions, including complex subterranean (underground) and aerial transport networks.

Ultimately, he expressed his strong desire that the Embassy and Ambassador Doan Thanh Song personally continue to serve as a robust bilateral bridge, empowering Phu Tho Province to access and accelerate concrete cooperation frameworks with Spanish conglomerates and trade associations.
