From July 16 to 21, Phu Tho province actively participated in the Vietnam tourism promotion program in Republic of Korea, aiming to promote destinations, strengthen partnerships, and attract international tourists.
As part of the program, the Phu Tho tourism delegation took part in the Vietnam Tourism Introduction and Business Exchange (B2B) Program held in Seoul. At the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, Director of the Provincial Tourism Promotion and Information Center, delivered a presentation highlighting Phu Tho’s tourism potential and distinctive offerings tailored to the preferences of Korean travelers. The delegation also organized an exhibition featuring promotional materials and publications and engaged directly with Korean travel agencies and media organizations to build new connections and foster cooperation.
Phu Tho’s tourism representatives exchanged information and introduced local destinations to Korean tour operators in Seoul.
In addition, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Office in Seoul, a vital hub for connecting and promoting the Korean tourism market to Vietnam, and to Phu Tho in particular.
Continuing the series of events, from July 18 to 21, 2025, Phu Tho tourism participated in the Korea International Tourism Show (KITS 2025) at the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. As one of Korea’s most prominent and prestigious tourism fairs, KITS 2025 attracted a broad range of domestic and international tourism businesses and organizations.
Through its participation in this year’s promotional activities in Korea, Phu Tho aims to enhance the province’s image and standing in the international tourism market, particularly among Korean travelers. This initiative also represents a key opportunity to expand cooperation, drawing more international visitors to the Ancestral Land, a destination where rich cultural heritage, captivating natural landscapes, and increasingly professional tourism services converge.
