Prominent tourist areas and sites attracting a large number of visitors include: Tam Dao, Mai Chau, Lac Village, Kim Boi, Hoa Binh Lake, Thung Khe Pass, Thanh Thuy, Xuan Son National Park, Long Coc Tea Hill, and Dai Lai... Among these, staying guests were estimated at 94,000, with an average room occupancy rate exceeding 60%. On peak days, some key tourist destinations reached an estimated occupancy of over 90%.
Tourist sites and tourism service businesses focused on innovating and improving product and service quality, enhancing the landscape to ensure destinations are “green - clean - beautiful - safe,” and creating specific highlights for visitors to sightsee and take photos.
Despite the large crowds, security and safety were maintained, with no reported cases of price gouging, persistent soliciting, or pestering of guests. Restaurants serving tourists ensured food safety and hygiene, with prices publicly listed and sold as advertised.
The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism collaborated with functional forces to strengthen inspections and supervision of tourism and service businesses. This ensured timely rectification of violations regarding pricing, environmental sanitation, food safety, and civilized conduct, maintaining a healthy tourism environment throughout the Hung King Commemoration - Hung Temple Festival, the 2026 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, and the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
