Promoting Phu Tho"s image through photos

PTO - Since 2016, the contest themed “Beautiful photos of Phu Tho tourism” has attracted a lot of professional and amateur photographers inside and outside the province to reflect all aspects of the life, natural scenery and the special culture of the ancestral land, contributing to promoting the local tourism, creating an attraction to the original land of the Vietnamese people.

After participating domestic competitions, Phu Tho photographers have begun to reach the international playground. Vu Manh Cuong was the first person in the Phu Tho photography did that. Since 2014, he has nearly 300 his photos to exhibite with many prizes. Many of them won the high prizes such as: Nhung bac thang may (Gold medal in India); Goc pho cuoi ngay (Gold medal in Finland); Nguoi dan ong va bien ca, etc. His "Ha ve dam sen" work taken in Dong Lam commune, Ha Hoa district won the FIAP Bronze Medal in Turkey in 2018; "Ba me Dao" taken in Yen Lap district was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be printed in a book as a gift to the ambassadors, international friends, contributing to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam.

Recently, in the 1st International Photography Contest 2020 by photo club JADRAN - Podgorica, Montenegro, under the sponsorship of FIAP, he again won a Gold medal from the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) with "Mach nguon trung du".

Some other photographers such as: Dinh Quang Tu, Nguyen The Bang, Nguyen Anh Tuan also started to send their photos to some contests, each of them owned 8-15 exhibits of works in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Banglades such as: Mam xoi vang, Thang co, Dong xanh, Lang nghe truyen thong Hoang Xa,Soi bong, etc. Thanks to these international playgrounds, the images of the beautiful, hospitable and peaceful Vietnam, the image of the ancestral land - the ancient capital of Vietnam or Phu Tho Xoan singing, Hung Vuong worship beliefs, etc. have been promoted.

In addition, the photos posted and shared by photographers on social networks have created a pervasive power, attracting more and more visitors to come and experience in Phu Tho.

Specially, "Vietnam Tea Hill" taken in Long Coc, Tan Son district was one of 26 works in the final of the "Weather photographer of the year" international photo award 2020. By the language of images, the photographers are messengers to promote and bring the image of Phu Tho to many countries around the world.
