Rituals of the Death Anniversary of Father Lạc Long Quân

On the morning of April 22 (the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month), at the Temple of Father Lac Long Quan within the Hung Temple Historic Site, Phu Tho province solemnly organized the 2026 Commemoration of Father Lạc Long Quân. The ritual team from Hy Cuong Commune performed the traditional ceremony, expressing the profound gratitude of the “Children of the Dragon and Grandchildren of the Fairy” toward Father Lac Long Quan. This is a crucial opening activity, embodying the nation’s tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” during the Hung Kings' Festival.

The procession carries incense, flowers, and offerings to Father Lac Long Quan.

The guard of honor, carrying the National Flag and the Festival Flag, leads the procession.

The ritual team of Hy Cuong Commune is honored to perform the ceremony to pay tribute to Father Lac Long Quan.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thu is chosen as the Master of Ceremonies.

The ritual is conducted according to traditional rites by the male ceremonial team of Hy Cuong Commune, recreating the spiritual cultural beauty of the Ancestral Land.

The Master of Ceremonies offers incense, flowers, and lamps to the altar.

Master of Ceremonies Nguyen Van Thu reads the funeral oration... expressing gratitude for the immense merits of Father Lac Long Quan.

Following the ritual, the Master of Ceremonies proceeds to burn the petition and respectfully bows to the Ancestor, concluding the traditional ceremony.

Delegates and the public solemnly offer incense to pay tribute to Father Lac Long Quan.
