Thach Khoan Communal House Festival in 2024
Thach Khoan commune, Thanh Son district held Thach Khoan Communal House traditional festival on March 4 and 5 (lunar January 24 and 25), 2024.

Thach Khoan community house is an antique Muong communal home, yet the architecture, sculpture, and ornamental arts are strong in look and style, similar to historic communal houses in the Northern midlands. The communal house is dedicated to Mountainous Saint Tan Vien, along with three princesses, daughters of King Hung and general Dinh Cong Moc, and four leaders of the Dinh family, Dinh Cong Moc, Dinh Cong Tot, Dinh Cong Nha, and Dinh Cong Thai, who were from Thach Khoan village and had the honor of repelling Ming invaders in the 15th century and protecting the villagers. Thach Khoan Communal House is a National Historical and Cultural Monument.

Thach Khoan communal home festival in 2024 followed traditional rites with full festivities and festivals. Following the palanquin parade and sacrificial ceremony, the celebration features a variety of cultural events and traditional games, including: Gong performance, dam duong, senh tien dance, folk games, swinging, blindfolded for pig catching, con throwing; sports competitions, cultural exchanges, and cultural camps in residential areas... have attracted a large number of people in the area to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the early days of spring, contributing to Implement the Project to continue preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Muong ethnic group and other ethnic minorities.
