The ripening orange season is blanketing the orchards of Cao Phong in a vibrant golden hue, signaling the bustling harvest period and welcoming visitors who come to experience and “check in” on the lush hillsides laden with fruit. Amid this signature golden landscape, the Cao Phong orange brand continues to strengthen its reputation as a renowned agricultural product in the domestic market—and, since 2023, has begun exporting to the United Kingdom.
Toward sustainable development, orange growers in Cao Phong Commune and the former Cao Phong District are promoting production models linked with experiential tourism. Orchard tours, fruit-picking activities, and learning about clean farming processes have created clear economic benefits for cooperatives and household growers while helping spread the value of “Cao Phong’s golden season” to a wider audience.

This year, the family of Pham Duc Mong in Khu 2, Cao Phong Commune cultivates 3,600 square meters of orange trees, yielding around 17–18 tons of fruit.

Long-vang oranges—traditional varieties that account for 70% of total cultivation area—have been grown for many years and provide stable productivity and economic value for local farmers.

Duong Canh oranges, known for their sweetness and thin skin, are highly favored by customers, with prices remaining stable at over 55,000 VND per kilogram.

Tourists enjoy picking oranges and taking photos at the vibrant orchards.

Cao Phong orange products are labeled with traceability codes and the geographical indication logo “Cam Cao Phong.”

Juicy, refreshing, and naturally sweet—Cao Phong oranges are a quintessential gift from this fertile land.
