In the sacred atmosphere of the mountains and forests at Hung Kings’ Temple, if you pay attention to the stone path throughout the tour, visitors will see very special stone slabs, reminding Vietnamese people to remember their roots and be grateful to their predecessors who have built and protected the country.
Talking about special stone steles at Hung Kings’ Temple, surely everyone knows the stone stele recording President Ho Chi Minh’s immortal advice to officers and soldiers of the Pioneer Army when visiting the temple after the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954.
The folk songs and proverbs standing out on the stone stele seem to deeply engrave the teachings of previous generations to the next generations.
Ms. Nguyen Lan Anh (Hanoi) shared: “This is the first time I have visited Hung Kings’ Temple for the first time so I saw many new things. In addition to the green space, a plus point is that along the way, we will occasionally come across very meaningful folk songs and proverbs that have left a deep impression on me.”
The lines of the poem remind everyone to always remember their national origin.
Although it is only a very small part of the general landscape, these stone steles are especially meaningful to many young people.
In the sacred space of Hung Kings’ Temple - the place of the nation’s roots, the folk songs remind every Vietnamese person to actively join hands to build an increasingly rich and strong country.
