Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Quach Tat Liem views some key transport projects

On the afternoon of November 5, Mr. Quach Tat Liem – Provincial Party Committee Member , Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) chaired a conference to hear the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Unit (PMU) report on the implementation progress of several key transport projects.

At the conference, the Vinh Phuc Regional PMU reported on the progress of several projects: the transport infrastructure connecting the capital region; the Parallel road of Hanoi - Lao Cai railway (section from National Highway 2C to Hop Thinh - Dao Tu Road and section from Hop Thinh - Dao Tu Road to extended 304 provincial Road); and the renovation and expansion of national highway 2 (Vinh Yen - Viet Tri section).

Regarding the report, the PMU currently has 94 transport projects with a capital plan for 2025, including 31 projects merged from provincial-level project management units and 63 projects inherited from the former district level.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the PPC Quach Tat Liem emphasized that these are key transport projects as a driving force for socio-economic development, strengthening regional linkages, and completing the province’s transport infrastructure system. To ensure the progress of the projects, the Vinh Phuc Regional PMU needs to coordinate closely with relevant localities, departments, and sectors to focus on resolving problems in site clearance, resettlement, land price determination, and finalizing investment dossiers and procedures...

Concurrently, they must develop a detailed resettlement plan. Local authorities need to enhance communication and mobilization efforts.

The Vice Chairman of the PPC assigned the Department of Finance to take the lead in allocating funds in accordance with the investment policy, ensuring resources for the implementation of project items.
