The Phu Tho tourism sector has implemented various comprehensive solutions, including infrastructure development, the establishment of specialized tour routes, and improvements in tourism human resources and service quality. Additionally, there has been a strong push for digital transformation in tourism promotion, maintaining and expanding tourism websites, travel apps, the Dat To YouTube channel, and social media pages, attracting tens of millions of visitors seeking information about Phu Tho tourism.
Notably, the province has launched the official tourism website in English, visitphutho.vn, and developed tourism brand identities for Hung Lo, Xuan Son, Long Coc, and Bach Hac. Additionally, Phu Tho’s tourism sector continues to implement the Cooperative Tourism Development Program in collaboration with eight expanded Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, creating attractive inter-provincial tour routes to draw more visitors to the Ancestral Land.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, Director of the Phu Tho Tourism Information and Promotion Center, shared that alongside the spiritual, resort, community, and eco-tourism tours, which have been successfully launched and attracted a large number of visitors, the highlight of Phu Tho tourism during this year’s Hung Kings' Commemoration is the event “Colors of Phu Tho Tourism 2025”. Taking place from April 3 to April 7 at Van Lang Park, this event features various activities promoting Phu Tho tourism, fostering tourism development partnerships, and preserving and showcasing cultural heritage. “Colors of Phu Tho Tourism” extends an invitation to visitors to explore their roots, immerse themselves in nature, and experience the rich cultural identity of Phu Tho.
During the Hung Kings' Commemoration and the Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week 2025, the provincial tourism sector has partnered with travel agencies and tourism businesses to launch a series of incentive programs aimed at attracting visitors to Phu Tho. Tourists will have opportunities to enjoy discounts of 20-50% on dining and accommodation services and receive free vouchers for unique cultural experiences such as Hat Xoan performances, traditional drum dancing, tea harvesting, making Hung Lo rice noodles, wrapping Banh Chung, and pounding Banh Giay.
The festival segment of the Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week will feature a variety of exciting activities, drawing tourists to Phu Tho, including: Opening Ceremony of the Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week 2025; “Colors of Phu Tho Tourism” Event; Fatherland Book Fair; Thematic Exhibition Showcasing Artifacts and Documents from the Hung Kings Era; Cultural Camp with Exhibitions and Promotion of Local Products; Folk Music and Phu Tho Folk Songs Festival; Xoan Singing Performances in Ancient Villages; Banh Chung Wrapping and Banh Giay Pounding Contest; Hung Kings' Cup Volleyball Tournament; “Back to the Roots” Marathon.
