Following local administrative mergers, many localities have rapidly asserted their roles in the province’s overall development. Among them, Binh Nguyen Commune has emerged as a highlight in economic growth, particularly in industry, trade, and services. With a solid industrial foundation, a favorable investment environment, and a dynamic business community, Binh Nguyen is steadily confirming its status as one of the province’s key industrial hubs.
2025 is considered a pivotal year for Binh Nguyen as it enters a new development phase following administrative restructuring. Despite global economic challenges, market fluctuations, and natural disasters, the local economy has maintained strong momentum, with industry remaining the core driving force.

With synchronous and modern infrastructure, the Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park (Binh Nguyen Commune) attracts numerous high-tech and environmentally friendly investment projects.
In 2025, the total production value in the area is estimated at over 44,000 billion VND. Notably, the industry and construction sector reached 40,000 billion VND, accounting for nearly 92% of the economic structure, while the service sector contributed over 3,000 billion VND (7%). This structure clearly reflects a highly developed industrial locality where industry and construction dominate, providing a vital foundation for economic growth, budget revenue, and job creation.
One of the factors behind Binh Nguyen’s breakthrough is its large-scale concentrated industrial park system. The commune currently hosts three major parks: Binh Xuyen, Son Loi, and Binh Xuyen II, spanning hundreds of hectares. It also benefits from industrial land belonging to neighboring major parks such as Khai Quang, Thang Long Vinh Phuc, and South Binh Xuyen.
Together with the Son Loi Industrial Cluster and the ICD Logistics Center, these facilities form a comprehensive industrial-logistics ecosystem, enhancing production capacity and trade connectivity for businesses.
By the end of 2025, nearly 1,000 enterprises were registered in the commune, including 79 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises and 702 non-state enterprises. These companies primarily operate in electronics, motorcycle parts, tiling, steel pipes, and various supporting industries.

Binh Nguyen Commune authorities organize land recovery enforcement for several households to serve the Binh Xuyen Industrial Park construction project.
Beyond production value, the industrial sector has created thousands of jobs. In 2025 alone, the commune provided employment for 483 workers, helping to improve local incomes and reduce the poverty rate to just 0.24%.
Parallel to industry, the trade and service sectors have seen significant progress. As a hub for industrial parks, the demand for production-related and residential services is surging. The commune currently features two traditional markets, a commercial center, and a diverse range of businesses in retail, dining, transport, banking, and telecommunications.
Notably, transport and logistics services have grown considerably to support expanding industrial activities, facilitating the flow of goods and enhancing the efficiency of industrial parks.

Minda Vietnam Automotive Components Co., Ltd (Binh Xuyen Industrial Park) provides stable jobs with good incomes for many local workers.
In 2025, total state budget revenue in the commune is estimated at over 568 billion VND. This provides crucial resources for further infrastructure investment and socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuong, Chairman of the Binh Nguyen Commune People’s Committee, stated: "In the coming time, the commune will focus on improving the investment environment, accelerating land clearance for key projects, and developing technical infrastructure. We also prioritize enhancing human resource quality, administrative reform, and digital transformation to better serve citizens and businesses."
With a solid industrial foundation and a dynamic business community, Binh Nguyen is firmly asserting its position as a key industrial commune, contributing to the goal of building the “new” Phu Tho province into a dynamic industrial and service center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains.
