On December 3, the People’s Committee of Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district held a ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic of Quach Duong Khe family church.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Duong Hoang Huong presented flowers and a bronze drum symbol to congratulate.

According to historical documents, the Quach Duong Khe family name originated from the great-grandfather Quach Dinh Du. Around 1685, he left his hometown of Phu Khe, Bac Ninh to build a foundation and settle down in Binh Mac village, Vinh Mo commune, Cao canton. Xa, Son Vi district, Lam Thao district, ancient Son Tay town, now area 6, Cao Xa commune. Returning to Vinh Mo, he opened a school to teach people in the area, then built a family and lived here for the rest of his life.

Quach Duong Khe family church was built in the late 18th century on a campus with an area of 316 square meters, including the main church and the prefecture house in the shape of a Nhi. Built in the 11th year of Bao Dai (1936), it is a place for spiritual gathering, ancestor worship, and organizing traditional rituals such as death anniversary offerings, sacrifices... every year of the family. Over more than 300 years with 14 generations, 525 people living in Cao Xa commune, the family has always promoted the tradition of studiousness of their ancestors, preserving family rules and family rules, leading by example in the movement. Building advanced new rural areas, moving towards building model new rural areas.

Quach Duong Khe Family Church is ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic, which is an honor and pride and also a basis for the government and local people in general, and generations of the Quach Duong Khe family. In particular, we are increasingly appreciating and preserving, contributing to preserving and further promoting the values of historical and cultural relics.
