On the morning of July 26, in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947–2025), Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, visited and presented gifts to policy-beneficiary families in Vinh Yen Ward.

Mr. Tran Duy Dong and his delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Dang Thanh Hung (born in 1944), residing in the Vinh Thinh 3 residential group, Vinh Yen Ward. Mr. Hung is a war invalid with a labor capacity loss of 61–70%, a revolutionary and resistance activist affected by toxic chemicals at a rate of 41–60%, and a war invalid with a disability rate of 24%.

At the visit, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee kindly inquired about Mr. Hung’s health and living conditions and extended his warm regards to wounded and sick soldiers, families of heroic martyrs, and those with meritorious services to the revolution.
He affirmed that the Party, the State, and future generations will always remember and be grateful for the sacrifices of previous generations and will continue to improve care for both the material and spiritual lives of people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Mr. Dong also shared updates on the province’s socio-economic development and major directions following the administrative merger. He wished the wounded and sick soldiers good health and encouraged them to remain a strong source of spiritual support for their children and grandchildren. He urged them to uphold the glorious revolutionary tradition of their families, set a shining example in local activities and movements, and serve as living role models to educate the younger generation about patriotism and resilience, contributing to building a prosperous and beautiful homeland and country.
He also requested the Party Committee, authorities, and socio-political organizations in the locality to continue improving support for war veterans and policy families, creating favorable conditions for them to engage in production and stabilize their livelihoods.
