Communes and Wards Offer Incense in Commemoration of the Hung Kings

On the morning of April 4 (the 17th day of the second lunar month, Year of the Horse), a delegation representing the Party Committee, authorities, and ethnic groups of Hoa Binh Ward, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung — Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Ward Party Committee — performed an incense offering ceremony at the Hung Temple Historical Site.

This meaningful activity looks forward to the Hung Kings' Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture-Tourism Week 2026. It embodies the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source,” reflecting the deep connection to national roots held by the people of Hoa Binh Ward.

During the ceremony, delegates respectfully offered incense, flowers, and rituals to commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings. They reported to the Ancestors on the socio-economic achievements of Hoa Binh Ward following the provincial merger and its transition to a two-level local government model. Significant progress has been made in culture, education, healthcare, and social welfare, while the great national unity has been further strengthened, consolidating public trust in the Party and government.

At Kinh Thien Palace atop Nghia Linh Mountain, the delegation reported on their recent milestones: poverty rates have decreased, administrative reforms have been effectively implemented, and the socio-economic sector has seen significant growth. The commune has successfully tapped into its tourism potential while effectively preserving traditional cultural values. Upholding the “Remember its source” tradition, Thuong Coc Commune remains determined to foster self-reliance, economic development, and cultural heritage as a spiritual foundation for local growth.
