Every spring, the Hung Kings’ Temple Historic Site welcomes tens of thousands of respectful footsteps. Atop the sacred Nghia Linh Mountain, where the spiritual soul of the mountains and rivers converges, this early-year pilgrimage is more than just a spring outing—it is a journey back to the very roots of the Vietnamese nation.
From the main gate leading into the relic site, festival flags flutter brilliantly in the spring breeze.
Streams of people all move in one direction, returning to the nation’s ancestral origins.
The Hung Kings’ Temple Historic Site attracts not only domestic compatriots but also many international tourists who come to explore the Worship of Hung Kings.
The first stop in this spiritual journey is the Ha Temple (Lower Temple). Before the incense-filled altars, families respectfully present offerings, praying for a peaceful new year, harmonious descendants, and a happy family.

Following the winding stone steps, visitors reach the Trung Temple (Middle Temple)—a site of solemn and ancient beauty that recalls the arduous yet heroic era of national founding.

Ascending further, the peak of Nghia Linh Mountain reveals the Thuong Temple (Upper Temple), the most sacred site within the entire complex.

Then, descending the mountain along tree-lined paths, visitors stop at the Au Co Mother Temple. The temple dedicated to National Mother Au Co exudes a gentle and ethereal grace.

The sanctity of the Mother Temple stems not only from ancient legends but also from the deep-seated faith of generations of Vietnamese people in the sacred bond of motherhood.

Amidst the pulse of modern life, the Mother Temple retains its majestic and sacred aura, reminding every Vietnamese descendant of the moral principle: "When drinking water, remember its source."

Currently, the service systems at the Hung Kings' Temple are increasingly organized in a professional and civilized manner to serve visitors.

A beautiful cultural tradition that attracts many visitors during early spring is the custom of asking for calligraphy characters.

With its immense historical values, the Hung Kings’ Temple stands tall as an eternal symbol of the nation’s spiritual soul...
