Effectively exploiting public works in Van Lang Park

The Van Lang Park lake project in the Van Lang tourist complex, Viet Tri city is a key project and highlight of the province. Therefore, recently, Viet Tri city has focused on mobilizing all resources to invest in construction, as well as promote the management and use of public works, to meet the needs of people and tourists when coming to Phu Tho.

Van Lang Park currently has three independent areas and organizes the exploitation of public assets including: Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh hill area, sports practice area and street and service house infrastructure system. In particular, the Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh hill area and the sports practice area were assigned by the People’s Committee of Viet Tri city to the City Culture and Sports Center to organize and submit to competent authorities for approval and implementation of exploitation rights according to regulations. The system of street infrastructure and service houses around Van Lang Park lake was assigned by the City People’s Committee to the City Land Fund Development Center for management and exploitation.

In early 2024, Phu Tho Auction Partnership Company (which is selected as the auction organizer) organized the auction according to regulations. Out of a total of four business units participating in the auction, two units are eligible to open bids, resulting in Viet Tri Environment and Urban Services Joint Stock Company being the winner of the exploitation right. Therefore, the Land Fund Development Center has coordinated with relevant agencies and units to hand over the areas that Viet Tri Environment and Urban Services Joint Stock Company has won the exploitation right to according to regulations. Up to now, Viet Tri Environment and Urban Services Joint Stock Company has received the handover and implemented the exploitation rights in accordance with the signed contract; At the same time, organized the signing of contracts and service business commitments with 78 households and individuals doing service business in accordance with the approved Project.

Originating from the above practical needs, there is a requirement to strengthen the management and exploitation of some infrastructure assets and public assets associated with the management responsibility of the exploiting unit in maintaining system of trees and grass, ensuring environmental hygiene in the park area, ensuring security and order, fire and explosion prevention and traffic safety during the exploitation process. At the same time, improve the efficiency of management and use of part of the functions of roadbeds and sidewalks to ensure traffic safety, urban beauty and improve service quality, especially during festivals.

To ensure the management and maintenance of the landscape of Van Lang Park, Director Le Huy Ha of the Land Fund Development Center said: In the coming time, we will continue to coordinate with sectors and Party committees at all levels in the city to conduct propaganda and popularize the content of the pilot project to exploit a number of public assets, strengthen management and maintenance of landscape on the mass information system of provinces, cities, wards and communes, especially wards and communes with areas within the boundaries of Van Lang Park. In addition, continue to complete signs and boards regulating locations where service businesses and parking spots are allowed, to guide people and tourists to comply with the regulations.
