Focusing on Boosting Investment Promotion

On the morning of September 5, Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to hear a brief report from the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center on the proposed investment promotion film, brochures, and activities related to investment promotion in the province.

The promotional documentary introducing Phu Tho Province is expected to be titled: Phu Tho - The Hub of Connection, Breaking Through the Future. The film will last 6-7 minutes. The content will highlight the province’s aspiration to break through and its visionary outlook, presenting a new image created in the heart of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region – Phu Tho Province, formed through the merger of three land areas rich in potential: Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh.

In his remarks, Chairman Tran Duy Dong emphasized that the goal of the investment promotion film is to capture the attention of investors. The script must align with strategies for breakthrough in governance, infrastructure, and human resources in the province. Key points should be supported by images, data, and statistics; the visuals should be vivid and realistic, with upbeat audio; data should be memorable and impactful; the film should be presented in multiple languages, with narration provided by a native speaker. The future-oriented segment should prioritize images of industrial production, tourism service development, and be aligned with commitments and visuals of the provincial leadership.

At the meeting, the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center presented its upcoming activities and solutions for implementing investment promotion programs and meetings with businesses.

Chairman Tran Duy Dong agreed with the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center’s proposal to organize a special investment promotion conference for South Korean businesses in Phu Tho. He also supported the organization of a provincial-wide investment promotion conference and a business dialogue conference aimed at removing obstacles, boosting business operations, and attracting investment into the province. He assigned the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center to collaborate with the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee to develop a process for implementing investment promotion and business support, with the aim of further improving the investment environment, enhancing investment promotion activities, and contributing to the economic growth of the province, targeting double-digit growth in 2025 and beyond.
