For the third consecutive year, Viet Tri City’s budget revenue gets over 1,000 billion Vietnam dong

On the morning of January 3, Viet Tri City Party Committee organized a conference to summarize the implementation of political tasks in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Manh Son - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Secretary of Viet Tri City Party Committee presided the conference.

In 2023, the city has achieved and exceeded 8/8 socio-economic targets. In particular, total State budget revenue in the area reached more than 1,240 billion VND, exceeding the plan by 24.2%. It was the third consecutive year the city revenue got over 1,000 billion VND, reaching the target of the Resolution of the City Party Congress for 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Viet Tri City Party Committee Nguyen Manh Son requested: To well carry out the tasks in 2024, it is necessary to mobilize the participation of the entire political system and the People in implementing key tasks, prioritize reviewing and closely following the set targets of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the 5-year socio-economic development plan in 2021-2025, especially the targets unachieved and poorly achieved to focus on implementing tasks and solutions with the determination to complete and exceed the targets set by the Resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels. Synchronously deploy solutions to exploit budget revenue sources; Strengthen improvement of the investment environment and digitalization of cadastral records; Focus on performing well the task of site clearance compensation and implementing capital construction investment projects; continue to maintain and improve the quality of cultural, educational, medical activities, ensure social security, political security, social order and safety. Carry out well the work of building the Party, consolidating and improving the quality of the political system from the city to the grassroots.

At the conference, two individuals were awarded with the Third Class Labor Medal and the Hung Kings Medal; an individual was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; 5 individuals were awarded the Medals “For the cause of organizing and building the Party” and the medals “For the cause of mass mobilization” from the Central Organizing Committee and the Central Mass Mobilization Committee.

On this occasion, Viet Tri City Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to party branches and organizations that successfully completed tasks in 2023 and met the standards of successfully completing the tasks for 5 consecutive years.
