Incense Offering Ceremony in Commemoration of the Hung Kings - Spring At Ty 2025

On January 28th (the 29th of the 12th lunar month, Year of Dragon), at the Kinh Thien Temple on the top of Nghia Linh Mountain in the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho Province solemnly held a ritual offering of incense to honor and pay tribute to the Hung Kings and their contributions to the founding of the nation, just before the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of Snake).

Mr. Bui Van Quang, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense, flowers, and ceremonial items at the Upper Shrine.

On behalf of the people across the country and the Vietnamese expatriates abroad, Mr. Bui Van Quang, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense, flowers, and ceremonial items at the Upper Shrine to express gratitude to the Hung Kings and the ancestors who contributed to the founding of the nation.

In front of the sacred spirits of the Hung Kings and the deities worshiped alongside the kings, Chairman Bui Van Quang solemnly reported to the ancestors on the achievements made throughout the past year. He emphasized that 2024, the Year of Dragon, presented the nation with significant challenges and difficulties—some unprecedented, others more complex than expected. However, under the timely and detailed leadership of the Party and the State, as well as the support from the Central Government, the Party, Government, and People of Phu Tho Province have worked together in unity and solidarity to overcome these challenges, capitalize on favorable conditions, and leverage local advantages to successfully achieve the set goals, contributing to the broader achievements of the nation.

As the sacred moment of the new year approaches, in front of the spirits of the Hung Kings and the ancestors, Phu Tho Province vows to promote the achievements attained; to continue to uphold the spirit of patriotism, revolutionary tradition; the will of self-reliance, self-confidence, independence, and strength; and the great unity of the entire nation. The province will work together, united, striving for stronger and more comprehensive innovation, constantly pushing forward with the highest determination and responsibility to realize the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy nation. We move forward confidently into a new era – an era of development, wealth, and prosperity for the nation.

The Party, Government, and People of Phu Tho Province vow to unite and build a stronger and richer homeland, while preserving and honoring the ancestral shrines for the descendants of Lac Hong to worship forever.

We pray that the Holy Ancestors bless the land with favorable weather, health for the people, and prosperity. May the country thrive, with national stability, peace, and well-being for all families, and may our ancestors’ legacy endure through the generations. We hope the nation overcomes challenges, succeeds in the goals and tasks set, and that the descendants of Lac Hong across the country, as well as our expatriates abroad, enjoy health, peace, and happiness.
