On the morning of December 23, Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, presided over the ceremony to award the Decision on Investment Policy Approval, Approval of Investor, and Investment Registration Certificate for the Doan Hung Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business project to Amata Group.
Chairman Tran Duy Dong awards the Investment Policy Approval and Investor Approval Decision to Amata Group.
The Doan Hung Industrial Park infrastructure project will be implemented across Doan Hung and Tay Coc communes, covering a total area of over 475 hectares with a total investment exceeding 185 million USD. Amata Group has committed to a synchronous investment in infrastructure, including workshops, offices, yards, service areas, wastewater treatment plants, and power, water, and telecommunications systems. The project is designed as a centralized, multi-sectoral industrial park focusing on high-tech, advanced, and environmentally friendly industries, prioritizing clean production and minimal industrial wastewater.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Group, expressed her gratitude for the support and partnership from Phu Tho’s leadership and departments. She highlighted that Amata is a world-leading industrial city developer from Thailand, with over 40 subsidiaries. To date, the Group manages 9 integrated industrial city projects spanning over 10,000 hectares, serving more than 1,400 multinational partners, creating 300,000 jobs, and contributing 56 billion USD to global GDP annually. With nearly 30 years of experience in Vietnam and over 2,500 hectares under development, Phu Tho is the 5th province in Vietnam where Amata has launched a major investment. Moving forward, the Group will proactively coordinate with local authorities to expedite legal procedures for site clearance and construction permits, aiming to attract secondary investors as soon as possible.
Chairman Tran Duy Dong informed that Phu Tho has continuously strived to improve its business environment, helping investors stabilize and expand their production. Despite economic challenges in 2025, Phu Tho achieved a growth rate of 10.52%, the highest among Northern Midland and Mountainous provinces—a success significantly bolstered by the contributions of investors and enterprises.
Emphasizing that the awarding of this certificate is only the beginning, the Chairman urged Amata Group to collaborate closely with provincial agencies to ensure the fastest possible implementation. The province commits to supporting the Group and directing relevant departments and communes to expedite site clearance so that commercial land becomes available for lease by 2026.

Provincial leaders and Amata Group representatives take a commemorative photo.
The Chairman oriented Amata Group to focus on attracting high-tech, eco-friendly projects and high-value-added sectors into Doan Hung Industrial Park. Affirming that “investors in Phu Tho are citizens of the province,” he expressed confidence that with Amata’s vast experience and the province’s companionship, the project will be a resounding success, contributing to the shared prosperity of Phu Tho.
