New point in the contest of cooking banh chung and pounding banh giay
Unlike previous years, this year’s Banh Chung Cooking and Banh Giay Pounding Contest, districts, towns and cities will not send teams that have won first prize for 3 consecutive years to participate in the competition, this also contributes to creating a new fresh exciting spirit for the competing teams with a high determination to win high prizes and present offerings to the Hung Kings.
According to the tradition, on the occasion of the annual Hung Kings’ Temple festival, the groups that have won the first prizes in the contest of making banh chung, and pounding banh giay from the previous years will have the honor to offer their banh chung and banh giay to the Kings in the following year.
