On the evening of April 22, the Department of Industry and Trade held the opening ceremony of the 2026 Hung Vuong Trade Fair at Hung Vuong Square. This is a key event within the series of activities for the Hung Kings' Commemoration – Hung Temple Festival and Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week. The fair will take place from April 22 to 28, 2026 (corresponding to the 6th to 12th day of the 3rd lunar month).

The opening ceremony welcomed distinguished guests from the Ministry of Industry and Trade: Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan – Deputy Minister, and leaders from the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation, and Industrial Promotion.
Representing Phu Tho Province were: Mr. Nguyen Manh Son – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Cong Thuc – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Festival Organizing Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lam – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Mr. Quach Tat Liêm – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
The 2026 Hung Vuong Trade Fair features over 400 booths from nearly 200 organizations and enterprises. The exhibition focuses on three main pillars: OCOP products and regional specialties, High-quality Vietnamese goods, and Tourism technology and services.

Items on display cover a wide range of sectors: industrial and handicraft products; high-tech goods; processed food and agricultural-forestry-fishery products; consumer goods and household appliances; construction materials and interior/exterior decor; electronics, garments, and traditional handicraft village products.

A notable highlight of this year’s fair is the participation of numerous provinces and cities nationwide, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Tay Ninh. Major corporations such as Honda Vietnam, Toyota Vietnam, and Piaggio Vietnam are also prominently featured.

The fair serves as a strategic platform for businesses and cooperatives to bolster trade promotion, showcase their production capacity, and strengthen their brands. It also provides an opportunity for economic organizations to seek investment partners, sign commercial contracts, and directly reach consumers.
The 2026 Hung Vuong Trade Fair acts as a vibrant highlight, creating a festive atmosphere for pilgrims and tourists visiting the Ancestral Land. It offers visitors the chance to access high-quality goods at reasonable prices, thereby stimulating domestic consumption and realizing the campaign: "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods."
